Dick Stoneburner Headshot

Dick Stoneburner

Mr. Stoneburner agreed to join the Board of Tamboran as a Non-Executive Director in September 2014. He has 35-plus years’ experience in petroleum geology. He is a former co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Petrohawk Energy Corporation and President – North America Shale Production Division for BHP Billiton Petroleum. Prior to co-founding Petrohawk, Mr. Stoneburner was Vice President, Exploration, for 3Tec Energy Corporation and worked for several E&P companies, including Hugoton Energy Corporation, W/E Energy Company, Stoneburner Exploration Inc and Texas Oil & Gas.

Mr. Stoneburner has a Bachelor of Science (Geological Sciences) from the University of Texas, a Masters of Science (Geology) from Wichita State University and has most recently been a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologist’s Distinguished Lecturer Series, 2013. He is currently a director of a number of oil and gas exploration and production companies.

Fred Barrett

Mr. Barrett agreed to join the Board of Tamboran as a Non-Executive Director in September 2014. He is an oil and gas professional and entrepreneur who recently retired from Bill Barrett Corporation, an exploration and production company he helped found in 2002 and which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Barrett spent 12 years at Bill Barrett Corporation where he was instrumental in its growth into a 300+ employee organization and its successful float on the NYSE. He acted as President and as an executive director of the Company through 2006, and CEO, Chairman of the Board and President from 2006 to 2013. Mr. Barrett has extensive technical and geological expertise in unconventional resources and a deep commercial understanding of the shale gas industry. He has a Bachelor of Science (Geological Sciences) from Ft Lewis College, a Masters of Science (Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences) from Kansas State University and an Advanced Management Degree from Harvard Business School. Mr. Barrett has previously worked for The Williams Companies, Barrett Resources and Terred Oil.

Mr. Elliott established Tamboran in 2009 and is a company Director (Non-Executive). He is formerly the founder and Director of Eastern Star Gas and SAPEX Limited, both highest successful oil and gas exploration ventures in Australia. He also served as Chairman of Meerkat Energy Pty Ltd and Managing Director at Gold Fields Morgan Grenfell.

Mr Elliott holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Financial Systems) from the University of New South Wales and a M.B.A. (Mineral Economics) from Macquarie University.

Honorable Andrew Robb AO

The Hon. Andrew Robb AO served as a Member of Australia’s House of Representatives for 12 years, including having served as Australia’s Minister for Trade, Investment, and Tourism in the Federal Parliament. He was elected as the Member for Goldstein, Victoria, in 2004 and retired from politics in 2016.

In this role, Mr Robb was instrumental in negotiating free trade agreements with South Korea, Japan, and China, as well as the 12-country Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement and the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Singapore.

He was also a member of the investment team for the Chevron-operated Gorgon Gas Project, currently exporting LNG from Barrow Island in Western Australia. Mr Robb is currently Chairman of The Robb Group (wealth management, corporate and investment advisory company), CLARA Energy, The AgriFood Data Exchange and CBMA; a Board Member of The Kidman Cattle Enterprise, Mind Medicine Australia, as well as advising a range of national and international businesses.

He has also served as a Board Member of Sinclair Knight Merz, which was then Australia’s largest consulting engineering company, has served as Chairman of Asialink, a Board Member of the Ten Network and the Garvan Medical Research Foundation.

David Siegel Headshot

David Siegel

Mr Siegel joined the Board of Tamboran as a Non-Executive Director in March 2021. Mr Siegel is the Chairman and Managing Member of Longview Petroleum, LLC, one of Tamboran’s largest shareholders. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Apollo Global Management, one of the world’s largest and most successful private equity firms. He also serves as the Chairman of two Apollo portfolio companies, Sun Country Airlines and Volotea, S.A.

For the past 25 years, Mr. Siegel has served as Chairman and/or CEO of several leading aviation companies including: AWAS (aircraft leasing); Frontier Airlines; XOJET, Inc. (private aviation); Gategroup, A.G.; US Airways Group; and Continental Express. Mr Siegel also served as the Chairman and CEO of Avis Budget Group. He began his career as a consultant at Bain & Co. Mr. Siegel served for 12 years on the Advisory Board of Trilantic Capital Partners, formerly Lehman Brothers Private Equity, a leading investor in unconventional oil and gas. Siegel earned an M.B.A., with honors, from Harvard Business School and Sc.B., magna cum laude, in Applied Mathematics-Economics from Brown University.

Ryan Dalton

Mr. Dalton has a strong background in finance and energy markets, including corporate finance and strategic planning, having previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at Parsley Energy from 2012, until being acquired by Pioneer Natural Resources in 2021.

Prior to his role at Parsley, Mr. Dalton served as an investment banker in Rothschild’s restructuring group as well as a consultant at AlixPartners. Mr. Dalton earned an undergraduate degree in finance from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia.

Jeffrey Bellman

Mr. Bellman brings a 33-year track record in the investment management industry, with a specific focus on analyzing and investing in the global public oil and gas sector. Throughout his career, he has managed equity portfolios across a wide spectrum of market capitalizations and cultivated strong relationships with management teams across multiple energy cycles. His recent experience includes twelve years as a Managing Director within the equities and fixed income group at Nuveen Investments. Mr. Bellman holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.

Scott Sheffield

Mr. Sheffield has more than 50 years of experience in the energy industry, including building a company into a top tier exploration and production company that was acquired by Exxon Mobil Corporation in a transaction that closed in May 2024. From 2019 until December 31, 2023, he served as a Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Natural Resources Company (“Pioneer”), a large publicly traded domestic upstream oil and gas company. He retired on December 31, 2023, as CEO and remained as a director until May 2024. Mr. Sheffield served as the founding Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer from August 1997 until his retirement in December 2016, and he also served as Board Chair from 1999 until 2019 when he returned as the CEO. Mr. Sheffield was the CEO of Parker and Parsley Petroleum Company, a predecessor company of Pioneer, from 1985 until it merged with MESA, Inc. to form Pioneer in 1997. Mr. Sheffield joined Parker and Parsley as a petroleum engineer in 1979, was promoted to Vice President of Engineering in 1981, was elected President and a Director in 1985, and became Board Chair and Chief Executive Officer in 1989. Mr. Sheffield served as a Director of Santos Limited, an Australian exploration and production company, from 2014 to 2017. He previously served as a Director from 1996 to 2004 on the Board of Evergreen Resources, Inc., an independent natural gas energy company.

Mr. Sheffield holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas. He has also served on various industry and education-related boards, including the National Petroleum Council, America’s Natural Gas Alliance, and the Maguire Energy Institute of the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business. Mr. Sheffield is also a 2013 inductee to the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum Hall of Fame.

Phillip Pace

Phillip Pace has more than 30 years of energy industry experience. From 2017 to 2020 he served as a Director of Lonestar Resources US Inc., a then-publicly traded exploration and production company. From 2009 until his retirement in 2020, Mr. Pace was Founding Partner and Managing Director of Chambers Energy Management, a Houston-based investment firm focused on opportunistic credit investments in the energy industry. He also has extensive experience in energy finance, including 19 years in oil and gas equity research. Following his equity research career, Mr. Pace became Credit Suisse’s Head of Exploration and Production Investment Banking in 2005 and Co-Head of Energy Investment Banking in 2006. During his career on Wall Street, Mr. Pace was involved in over $50 billion in completed M&A transactions and over $10 billion in equity capital raised for the exploration and production sector in more than 50 distinct transactions.

Mr. Pace holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, with honors, from Texas A&M University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He serves on multiple education-related and non-profit boards, including the Yellowstone Academy and Angel Reach.
