Founded in 2009, Tamboran Resources Corporation is a publicly listed natural gas company with committed to supporting the global energy transition by developing commercial production of natural gas in the Beetaloo with net zero equity Scope 1 and 2 emissions.

Tamboran holds the largest operated acreage position in Australia’s Beetaloo Basin with approximately 2 million net acres. The resource is strategically located on the northern tip of Australia, capable of delivering gas to help mitigating the looming shortfall on Australia’s East Coast gas market and also supplying LNG to the Asian gas markets.

Tamboran is headquartered in Sydney, Australia with a global management team leveraging a significant depth of experience in the successful commercialisation of unconventional gas throughout North America. The team brings a wealth of knowledge, including modern shale reservoir assessment, as well as cutting-edge drilling and completion design technology.

Tamboran has strategically partnered with Helmerich & Payne, Inc. (NYSE: HP) and Liberty Energy Inc. (NYSE: LBRT) to import a modern US drilling rig and completions equipment to the Beetaloo Basin to support development efficiency and cost reduction.
